To celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary, forestry machine manufacturer Eco Log conducted a demonstration tour across Sweden during 2024. Throughout the tour, Eco Log showcased what its modern forestry machines have to offer in Nävlinge, Skåne, Katrineholm, and Falun.
During the demo days, visitors had the chance to meet representatives from Eco Log’s team, including members from the development department who demonstrated upcoming innovations that will be featured in Eco Log’s harvesters. The events also provided opportunities to network with industry colleagues and take advantage of special anniversary offers.
In November, the final stop was in Älvsbyn, Västerbotten. There, attendees could see Eco Log’s largest harvester, the 590G, in action. Powered by a Volvo Penta engine with an impressive 320 horsepower and equipped with a crane delivering 310 kNm, the 590G handles all types of tasks quickly, safely, and cost-effectively. Eco Log’s unique pendulum arm technology ensures the 590G has optimal terrain-handling capabilities, and the model can also be fitted with a balanced bogie for added flexibility.
Eco Log manufactures, sells, and services forestry machines for sustainable forestry, including forwarders, harvesters, and harvester heads. The machines are designed according to the cut-to-length method, the dominant technique in the Nordic region. Manufacturing takes place in Söderhamn.
