Lazarus portfolio company BrandFactory strengthens its position as Sweden’s leading player in vehicle branding through the acquisition of The Sign.
BrandFactory completed the acquisition of The Sign in April. The Sign is a Stockholm-based company in vehicle branding handling design, production and installation. The transaction is a strategic step in BrandFactory’s ambition to control a greater share of the value chain within vehicle branding, building on the strong financial turnaround the company delivered in 2025, with an earnings improvement of SEK 26 million.
The acquisition brings BrandFactory increased installation capacity, deeper production expertise and faster lead times, as well as an established customer base within the segment. In turn, The Sign’s customers gain access to BrandFactory’s own production capabilities in vinyl decoration – a combination that creates the conditions for a broader offering and increased delivery capacity.
The deal is focused on growth rather than cost synergies. The two companies share a common vision of expanding the business and gaining market share. Together, they expect rapid growth within the vehicle branding segment and further steps in the strategy to control the value chain – an approach that Lazarus views as a key driver of long-term value creation in the company.
